This page is for agencies, consultancies and other client-service teams that use Teamwork.com or are evaluating it, and want to see what else is available. We compared seven alternatives on starting price, user minimums, free plan, time tracking and invoicing, and worked out what a team of 10 pays.

FlowQi is our own product, so it is listed first, with its downsides. Every competitor price comes from the vendor’s own pricing page or help center. Pricing checked on 13 September 2026.

Why teams look for a Teamwork.com alternative

Teamwork.com is built for client work, and it does that well: time tracking on every paid plan, invoicing from logged time, retainers and capacity planning. The reasons teams compare other tools are mostly about where features sit in the plans:

  • Invoicing from logged time, time budgets and capacity planning start on Accelerate, at $24.99 per user per month billed yearly, with a minimum of 5 users.
  • Quotes, resource scheduling by role or skill and profitability insights are on Optimize, which is priced on request.
  • Basics has a minimum of 3 users, and the free plan is capped at 5 users and 5 projects.
  • Monthly-billing prices are not shown on the pricing page. Yearly billing is said to save about 29%.
  • TeamworkAI is included for an introductory period, with usage-based AI credits launching in September 2026.

For a team of 5 or more that uses Accelerate fully, these are reasonable terms. Smaller teams, and teams where only a few people track time or invoice, often look at other pricing models.

The alternatives

FlowQi

FlowQi is a work platform for service businesses. CRM, projects, tasks, time tracking, capacity planning, quotes and invoices sit in one place, so a client record leads to a project, hours and an invoice. Basic is free for the whole team with no end date and includes CRM, projects, tasks, list, board and calendar views and 500 MB of storage. Core adds roles and permissions, private projects, guest users, Hummy AI, reporting and team dashboards and 100 GB of storage.

FlowQi Basic is free with no minimum seats, Core costs €25 per user per month (€20 billed yearly), Time & Resources costs €25 per user per month only for the people who track time, and Billing costs €25 per user per month only for the people who invoice. Both modules also work on the free Basic plan.

Best for: small and mid-sized agencies that want CRM, projects, hours and invoices connected, without a user minimum or paying every module for every seat.

Watch out: FlowQi has no accounting integration and no verified integration list yet, where Teamwork.com connects to HubSpot and QuickBooks on Accelerate. It is a young platform with few public reviews. Hummy AI and roles and permissions are only in Core. It is built for service businesses rather than as a generic project management tool.

Productive

Productive is an operations platform for agencies and professional services. Its Essential plan already lists time tracking, budgeting, resource planning, invoicing and an AI assistant. Professional adds rate cards, skills, advanced reports and HRIS and invoicing integrations.

Productive lists Essential at $10 per user per month and Professional at $25, yearly billing saves up to 17%, a minimum of 3 paid seats applies, and there is a 14-day free trial.

Best for: agencies that want budgets, resourcing and invoicing on the first paid plan.

Watch out: there is no free plan. Invoicing integrations are only listed from Professional, and Ultimate is priced on request.

Scoro

Scoro is a work management platform for professional services, founded in Estonia, that combines quotes, projects, time tracking, resource planning, budgets and invoicing. You buy packages per user. Time-billing covers time tracking and invoicing, Projects & Resources adds resource planning, Quote to Cash adds quotes and budgets, and End-to-end combines them. Scoro AI is included with plan-dependent credits.

Scoro costs $17 per user per month for Time-billing, $29 for Projects & Resources or Quote to Cash and $57 for End-to-end, billed monthly with a minimum of 5 users, and yearly billing is 13 to 17% cheaper.

Best for: established agencies that want quotes, budgets and financial reporting in one suite.

Watch out: every package has a 5-user minimum, and there is no free plan. Getting resource planning, quotes and invoicing together means End-to-end at $57 per user per month.

Accelo

Accelo is PSA software for professional services firms in consulting, accounting, engineering, architecture, agencies and IT services. It covers project management, resourcing and capacity planning, project financials and business intelligence. It lists integrations with HubSpot, Salesforce, Xero, QuickBooks Online and Sage Intacct, among others.

Accelo does not publish prices: pricing is based on team size and growth goals, plans include implementation guidance and onboarding support, and you request a quote or book a demo.

Best for: established firms that want accounting and CRM integrations and a guided implementation.

Watch out: without public pricing, you cannot estimate cost before a sales conversation. Its pricing page mentions no free trial.

Wrike

Wrike is a project management platform for structured projects and portfolios, from small teams to enterprises. According to Wrike’s help center, time tracking is available on Business, Pinnacle and Apex. Advanced resource and capacity planning and budgeting are part of Pinnacle, which is priced on request.

Wrike Team costs $10 per user per month for 2 to 15 users and Business costs $25 per user per month for 5 to 200 users, both billed yearly, and Business is only sold as a yearly subscription.

Best for: larger teams running many parallel projects that need structure and reporting.

Watch out: there is no time tracking on Free or Team. Budgeting needs Pinnacle, and the pricing page lists no invoicing, which matters if you invoice from Teamwork.com today.

ClickUp

ClickUp is an all-in-one workspace with tasks, docs and many views, which teams configure to their own process. Native time tracking and unlimited storage start on Unlimited. The pricing page lists no invoicing, so agencies moving from Teamwork.com would need a separate invoicing tool.

ClickUp Unlimited costs $7 per user per month billed yearly or $10 billed monthly, Business costs $12 yearly or $19 monthly, no minimum seats are stated, and Brain AI costs $9 per user per month extra.

Best for: teams that want a low per-user price and are willing to build their own client workflow.

Watch out: there is no invoicing. On Free Forever, time tracking is only a trial and storage is 60 MB.

monday.com

monday.com Work Management is built around boards and dashboards that non-technical colleagues tend to pick up quickly. CRM, Service and Dev are separate monday.com products with their own seat prices.

monday.com Work Management starts at €9 per seat per month billed yearly on Basic, time tracking requires Pro at €19 per seat per month billed yearly, and paid plans start at 3 seats sold in seat buckets.

Best for: agencies that want a visual work tracker and invoice from their accounting software.

Watch out: time tracking is only on Pro and above, resource management is on Enterprise, and the Work Management pricing page lists no invoicing. monday.com shows prices in local currency; the euro prices above are what its pricing page showed us.
